Dates stuffed with mascarpone

Ingredients
24 dates
50 g powdered sugar
100 g mascarpone Sterilgarda
q.b. ground cinnamon
12 walnut kernels
1 cucchiaio of Rum
Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the Sterilgarda mascarpone and powdered sugar. Season with cinnamon.
  2. Season with rum and combine the ingredients using a hand whisk until smooth.
  3. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a star-shaped nozzle.
  4. Set the piping bag aside and prepare the dates. Start by cutting them in half: repeat the process for all the dates. Then remove the pits: this will leave boat-shaped dates ready to be stuffed.
  5. Take the piping bag and start filling the dates into the hole.
  6. Place half a walnut kernel on top of the Sterilgarda Mascarpone cream. Fold the walnut into the mascarpone cream.
  7. After repeating all the steps for all the dates stuffed with mascarpone and walnuts, place them in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before enjoying them.
