250 g ham
250 mL bechamel Sterilgarda
120 g gruyère
8 slices of bread
Prepare this recipe with:
Preparation
  1. Toast the slices of bread in the toaster or in the oven until lightly golden.
  2. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread a scant spoonful of Sterilgarda Béchamel on each slice.
  3. Sprinkle with some Gruyère, grated with a coarse grater.
  4. Add the ham.
  5. Cover with another scant tablespoon of béchamel and more Gruyère.
  6. Close the sandwiches with the remaining 4 slices of toasted bread and complete with more béchamel sauce and cheese.
  7. Brown under the grill at maximum power for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  8. Serve the croque-monsieur hot and stringy.

250 g prosciutto cotto
250 mL besciamella Sterilgarda
120 g gruyère
8 fette di pancarrè
Prepare this recipe with:
Preparation
  1. Tostare le fette di pancarré nel tostapane oppure in forno fino a leggera doratura.
  2. Adagiarle su una teglia rivestita di carta forno. Distribuire su ciascuna fetta un cucchiaio scarso di Besciamella Sterilgarda.
  3. Cospargere con una parte di gruyère, grattugiato con una grattugia a fori grossi.
  4. Aggiungere il Prosciutto Cotto.
  5. Coprire con un altro cucchiaio scarso di besciamella e altro gruyère.
  6. Chiudere i sandwich con le 4 fette di pane tostato restanti e completare con altra besciamella e formaggio.
  7. Far dorare sotto al grill alla massima potenza per circa 5 minuti o comunque fino a quando il formaggio sarà fuso e dorato.
  8. Servire i croque-monsieur caldi e filanti.
